The DJTT Fall League is run completely by volunteers, so we need your help to keep the league running as smoothly as possible. Each week, each team will provide one parent volunteer to assist with the conduct of the match. These volunteers will assist with court set-up or take-down (hanging or storing score boards, ensuring balls and trash are picked up and all equipment put away) and keeping a running score on the score boards so parents can keep up with the match progress. A simple score keeper form is available in the court notebook. The score keeper will periodically check with the coaches to record the completed match scores on the sheet and then transfer them to the score board. Be careful to make sure that the order of the scores matches the designation on the sheets (e.g. 5D, 2S). One of these parent volunteers should be assigned the additional job of time keeping, blowing the air horn when the ten minute warm-up period is over signalling the start of play and when two minutes remain in the scheduled round, alerting the teams that play is almost over. Finally they should blow the air horn when play is over. Be careful to hold the air horn away from your head – you’ll only make that mistake once! Reporting Scores: The coach of the winning team is responsible for reporting scores. Scores can be reported in one of the following ways: By email (preferred): Download the Team Scorecard Microsoft Word template provided below. Fill in the scores and email it to scores@delawarejuniorteamtennis.net as an attachment. Alternatively, if you have access to a scanner, you can scan the Team Scorecard and email it as a PDF / TIF attachment. By fax: Fax the Team Scorecard to (928) 752-1981. Please indicate clearly the league and teams you are reporting for and provide a contact number in case we need to get in touch with you. Please report your scores by Monday 12:00 noon so that team standings may be updated promptly. Junior Team Tennis Scorecards:
